Junior Golf
October featured two prominent junior events, the Junior Club Championship and the Parent-Child Championship.
The junior championship had 12 competitors spread across 3 age divisions. The boy’s junior champion and Courtney Cup recipient was Michael Zhang. Kaitlin Coverstone won the girls championship. Gerry Zhang was victorious in the Mickelson Flight (age 13 and under) and Luke Meisenbach edged Finn Rhoten by one stroke in the Fowler Flight (age 10 and under). Peyten Seltzer was the winner in the girls Fowler Flight.
Next up on the calendar is another of the popular family scrambles. The date will be announced soon. The year will conclude with a couple of junior golf camps over the holiday season. Details will be posted on the club’s website.
